Awesome Hero. Amazingly Human. Always Hopeful.
These are some of the words that have been used to describe the incredulous Sparsh Shah, aka Purhythm: A 17-year old singer, songwriter, inspirational speaker and award winning ‘ragarap’ artist who despite his physical limitations has achieved remarkable accomplishments. He was born with brittle bone disease, otherwise known as ‘osteogenesis imperfecta’, and sustained nearly 40 fractures during his birth. To date, he has endured more than 140 fractures , but who’s counting?!!
Sparsh’s zest for life is palpable. The name “Sparsh” means ‘touch’ and that he does, to anyone who comes in his path. True to his name, his humble ambition is to inspire billions of people or in his words, he hopes to ‘Sparsh the world’. Even at his young age, he has already performed for over a billion people. What may appear daunting to others, to Sparsh seems realistically attainable.
His appreciation for the life he has been given and his unwavering love for others comes through loud and clear in the new release, “Luv Today” – a collaboration with another multi-talented 17-year old musician; an opera singer and master violinist, Biana Pinchuk of South Florida.
A formidable duo for good, they partnered with multi-platinum Grammy Award winning producer, Tony Dofat and songwriter, Sivia Dreyfuss, to express their positive message of hope and the power of kindness. Sivia is CEO of Mission Possible Foundation (MPF), a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity in South Florida of which Sparsh and Biana are both youth ambassadors in support of MPF’s youth addiction prevention initiatives.
